Clear, independent technology advice for growing businesses.
I work with business owners who need help making sense of their systems, their options, and their next move. No implementation upsell, no vendor kickbacks - just straight advice.
Three ways to work together
Most clients start with a Reality Check and move forward from there. Each offer is self-contained - you can stop at any point.
A fixed-scope diagnostic for businesses facing a technology decision - new ERP, AI adoption pressure, SaaS consolidation, or a vendor pitch. You get an honest written assessment of whether what you're being sold actually makes sense for your business.
Once you know what needs to change, I help you act on it. This is bounded project work: fixing fragile integrations, implementing recommendations from a Reality Check, or resolving specific systems problems with a defined scope.
A monthly retainer for businesses that want an independent technical advisor available on an ongoing basis - for vendor decisions, contract reviews, project oversight, and the questions that come up between big decisions.
Technology Reality Check
Fixed price. You know what it costs before we start. What makes this different from a standard audit
A standard audit tells you what you have. This tells you whether what you're being sold makes sense. No vendor referrals, no implementation upsell embedded in the findings - just a clear-eyed assessment of the decision in front of you.
What's included
A current systems map, an honest assessment of vendor claims vs. operational reality, risk identification, and a prioritized recommendation - proceed, modify, defer, or reject - with the reasoning behind it.
What you get
A written decision briefing you can act on, plus a follow-up call. Not a 40-page report nobody reads - a clear answer to the question you're actually trying to answer.
Typical timeline
Standard engagements complete in one to two weeks. Complex multi-system evaluations take two to three weeks. Urgent decisions can be turned around in five to seven business days.

Fix & Implement
Defined scope. Confirmed budget. No open-ended meter running.Acting on the findings
A Reality Check often surfaces specific things that need fixing. Fix & Implement is where that work happens - remediating fragile integrations, building what was scoped, and making sure the next person who touches the system understands what they're looking at.
What's in scope
Integration remediation, implementation work from prior recommendations, pipeline mapping and documentation, monitoring setup, and handoff documentation. Out of scope: open-ended development or new systems not previously assessed.
How it's priced
Block hours, not open-ended hourly. You approve a fixed budget upfront - not individual hours as they go by. Blocks expire so scope stays honest. Most engagements run 20–40 hours depending on complexity.
Fix & Implement - Block Pricing
Prepaid hour blocks at a fixed rate. You know your budget before work starts. Blocks expire to keep scope honest.

Ongoing Advisory
A small monthly retainer for businesses that want consistent access to an independent technical advisor. An independent voice in your corner
Technology decisions come up constantly. Having someone available who knows your systems, has no vendor relationships, and will give you a straight answer is worth a lot - especially when you're being pressured to move fast.
Vendor and contract support
Evaluating new software? About to sign a statement of work? I help you ask the right questions, spot what's missing, and go into negotiations with an informed position - rather than taking the vendor's framing at face value.
Project oversight
If you're running a technology implementation, I can help you stay in control - keeping vendors accountable, flagging scope creep early, and making sure the project delivers what was actually promised.
3-month minimum, then month-to-month
Advisory relationships need a bit of runway to deliver real value. After the initial term, it's 30 days notice to cancel. I'd rather earn your business every month than lock you into a contract.
Ongoing Advisory - Retainer Pricing
