I fix messy business systems.

If your business has outgrown QuickBooks, your data lives in spreadsheets, and you're not sure what to fix first — that's exactly where I work. No jargon, no sales pitch, just clear practical advice from someone who's done it before.

Fractional technology advisor for growing businesses in Atlantic Canada and beyond.

Sound familiar?

You don't need a full-time CTO. You need the right advice at the right time.

I work with business owners who are hitting the limits of the tools and processes that got them here.

Your systems don't talk to each other

You're manually moving data between tools, running duplicate processes, and losing hours every week to work that should be automated.

You've outgrown your current software

QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and ad-hoc tools worked when you were smaller. Now they're slowing you down and creating errors.

Tech decisions feel overwhelming

Every vendor promises the world. You don't know who to trust, what you actually need, or how much you should be spending.

Your team is working around broken processes

Staff have built workarounds that only they understand. If they leave, you're in trouble. The tribal knowledge problem is real.

You've had a bad experience with IT before

A previous project went over budget, took too long, or didn't deliver what was promised. You're cautious — and rightly so.

You know something needs to change but don't know where to start

You can feel the drag on the business but can't get a clear picture of what's causing it or what to tackle first.

How I work

Practical advice, no fluff.

Independent advice you can act on

I work with a small number of clients at a time so I can give each one proper attention.

I start by listening

Before recommending anything, I take time to understand your business, your team, and where the real friction is.

I give you a clear picture

You get an honest assessment of what's working, what isn't, and what the options are — explained in plain language.

I help you make smart decisions

I'm not selling software or implementation services. My only job is to give you advice that's actually in your interest.

FAQs

Common questions

Straight answers about how this works.

What size of business do you work with?

Typically businesses with 5 to 50 staff that have grown past the startup stage but aren't large enough to justify a full-time CTO or IT director. Usually $1M–$20M in revenue.

Are you based in Atlantic Canada?

Yes, I'm based in New Brunswick. I work with clients across Atlantic Canada and remotely with businesses elsewhere in Canada.

Do you implement the systems you recommend?

No — and that's intentional. I give independent advice. If implementation is needed I can help you find and evaluate the right people for the job, but I don't have a financial interest in which direction you go.

What does it cost?

The discovery call is free. A systems audit is typically a fixed-fee engagement scoped to your situation. Ongoing advisory retainers are priced monthly. We'll discuss all of this before any commitment.

How quickly can you start?

I work with a small number of clients at a time. Book a discovery call and we'll figure out timing from there.

What industries do you work in?

I've worked across professional services, trades, retail, and light manufacturing. If your business runs on systems and data, the fundamentals are the same.

Ready to get some clarity?
