Sound familiar?

If you're running a growing business, chances are at least one of these keeps you up at night.

Your systems don't talk to each other

You're manually moving data between tools, running duplicate processes, and losing hours every week to work that should be automated.

You've outgrown your current software

What got you here won't get you to the next stage - and the ongoing problems and errors are starting to prove it.

A vendor is pushing you toward a big decision

Everyone's talking about AI, ERP upgrades, and digital transformation. The pressure to act is real, but the right answer for your business isn't obvious.

Your team is working around broken processes

You know exactly which few people you can't afford to lose, and it's not for the reasons on their job description.

You've been burned by a technology project before

Over budget, over time, or it just didn't deliver. You're cautious now - rightly so.

You can feel the drag but can't locate the source

Something's slowing the business down. Pinning down exactly what is the hard part.

How I work

Advice you can act on

I work with a small number of clients at a time so I can give each one proper attention.

I start by listening

Before recommending anything, I take time to understand your business, your team, and where the real friction is.

I give you a clear picture

You get an honest assessment of what's working, what isn't, and what the options are - without the vendor spin.

I help you make smart decisions

My recommendations aren't shaped by referral fees or vendor kickbacks. My only job is to give you a recommendation that's genuinely in your interest - including when the right answer is to wait.

FAQs

Common questions

Straight answers about how this works.

What size of business do you work with?

Typically businesses with $5M–$100M in revenue that have grown past the startup stage but aren't large enough to justify a full-time CTO or IT director.

Are you based in Atlantic Canada?

Yes, I'm based in St. John's Newfoundland. I work with clients across Atlantic Canada and remotely with businesses elsewhere in Canada.

Do you implement the systems you recommend?

For work that comes out of a Reality Check, yes - through Fix & Execute, scoped to what the assessment found. I also take on fractional and contractor engagements outside that funnel, including legacy system support work. Those are separate arrangements with their own terms, and I'll always be upfront about which mode we're in.

What does it cost?

The discovery call is free. A Technology Reality Check starts at $3,500 fixed fee. Fix & Execute work is priced in prepaid hour blocks starting at $3,500. Ongoing Advisory retainers start at $3,500/month. Full pricing is on the services page.

How quickly can you start?

I work with a small number of clients at a time, that's intentional. Book a discovery call and we'll sort out timing from there.

What industries do you work in?

I've worked across professional services, omnichannel retail, distribution, trades and light manufacturing. If your business runs on systems and data, the fundamentals are the same.
